
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees (fan).
Place the beans (and asparagus if using) on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with lemon juice, salt and black pepper.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the beans (and asparagus) from oven, sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
Cook for a further 10 mins, until the beans (and asparagus) are slightly crispy but also still soft.
